Shroff Vanilla Balsam Incense Reviews

Stunning fragrance that gets better and deeper the longer it burns. The sticks are thick with masala and almost wet. Not as gummy and wet as Ruby, but definitely not a charcoal stick. This incense was not the one I was expecting when I ordered it. I had burned vanilla balsam sticks from Shroff in the past, but they were very dry and woody with an intoxicating forest-like aroma and no vanilla scent at all. I loved them. These, totally different. Out of the box, the unlit sticks smell strongly soapy with a heavy vanilla fragrance almost like superstore air fresheners. Then you light one. WOW! The pungent vanilla-like scent disappears after the first minute or two, leaving a tangy, almost spicy-sweet scent. As it burns down, the spice scent gets even stronger. It's like this one was made with actual vanilla bean instead of fake vanilla flavor you find in the cake aisle. This smells like the stuff you'd find in the spice aisle, with exotic, magical ingredients you can only imagine. This one was a beautiful experience and I'm definitely ordering more. Thanks for being NOTHING like the vanilla I was expecting! This was gorgeous.

Here is another good Shroff incense. Nice and airy and I like it best in a coolish room, so with Spring around the corner just great. There were one dozen fat sticks in my 25g box. Somehow, I think it burns in a similar way to their Silver Oud - the latter not of course accenting any vanilla, but somewhere in the background and in the manner it burns, I sense connections.

Great quality incense. Large and fragrant sticks burned a long time. I was hoping for more of a pine smell, but didn't get it. I would buy this brand again and try a different fragrance.
