I own some real agarwood oil, and while I can't say that this incense smells exactly the same at it, I can say that it smells much better than many other agarwood or oud incenses that I've tried. Many others smell like men's cologne (and not the good kind), but this one is significantly toned-down in the cologne department and instead smells earthy and sweetly woodsy. My only complaint is that is isn't available in a bigger box.
