This incense right here... this is it for me. Primo Sandalwood incense had been my all time favorite for over 20 years. Went to buy some for my alter and discovered they'd gone out if business, but this was the new incense company the family was running. Honestly, I think this is a solid comp. It's warm, creamy, has some sweetness, it's not overly heavy or thick, but it it's potent. It has that sandalwood scent I love so much. Just really well balanced. No smell of smokey burned stick, however, like most incense, if you burn it in a small confined space, there will be some hint of smoke scent, but it does subside and leave you with the scent of the stick.
This is one of the only incense I've tried where the scent it leaves in the room smells exactly like the stick before you burned it.
