Authentic Shroff Channabasappa high quality temple grade incense hand-rolled in India. Champa has a balsamic aroma with a ripe, floral-sweet impression. Shroff Channabasappa is a small family business producing incense sticks in the fifth generation founded in 1882. Using centuries old original recipes and craftsmanship since the very beginning of its creation. One 25 gram box. Burning time approx. 45 minutes.
This is NOT Nag Champa. Do not order this thinking you'll be getting something similar to Nag Champa. You will not. This is entirely different and amazing. The almost headache inducing burning scent from the first five minutes gives way to a beautiful floral-spice scent, with a small note of foresty pine or some other evergreen. Toward the middle the burn, it almost smells like warm toast and fresh flowers. This is a wonderful incense! I've never smelled real champaca flower, so I'm not sure how heavy the champaca is, but there's a lot of halmaddi. The sticks are thick and moist, almost mushable. Very fresh sticks also drop what smells like sandalwood dustings when rubbed or when pulled out of the package. If you don't like the dust, you can rub off a lot, but it adds to the scent.
